Probably the most common question we are asked, and also a pretty generic and open-ended one. To keep cost reasonable, the cars are rented amongst a group of three people. You can come as a group, but it is ultimately up to us to fill all three spots per car.

You can do that! We have had several customers purchase multiple spots in the same car for themselves to increase the amount of seat time they get during the day. This is not unusual, and I would highly recommend doing this.

Depends on the above question! However, most of our students will rent the cars in the standard group of three. In this case you will typically see about 2.5 hours of seat time per person. An amazing amount of seat time for your dollar.

You pay for it! Pretty simple, we can't afford to wreck the cars every time they go out. Just like a normal rental car business and in other forms of racing and literally all parts of life: "You break it, you buy it!" Of course there is an option for insurance, but there is still a deductable. If you abuse the car and it breaks beyond immediate repair, that's it for the day. You've ruined your experience, and whoever else rented a spot in that car with you. It is in your best interest to treat the cars with respect for so many reasons. It's not fun to have other people mad at you, just like it's not fun to owe us extra money to fix the car that you broke.

Let's get one thing straight: ALL MOTORSPORT IS DESTRUCTIVE BY NATURE. Contrary to popular believe, drifting is not any more destructive than any other form of motorsport. Based on my experience, I wouldn't even rank drifting in the top 10 most destructive motorsports in existence. It's probably one of the most gentle forms of motorsport (although not to the tire) when executed correctly. We have been running the drift school for 3 years now, and have yet to experience customer-inflicted damage to any of the cars. To this day, we have never had to charge a customer any extra amount of money to repair one of the cars. I would like for it to stay that way. All of the drift school cars are maintained to the highest level, receiving a full inspection on our hoist, 4-wheel alignment and "nut and bolt check" after every single event. They are in impeccable mechanical condition. For example, the Skyline drives to and from every single drift school event. It has never had to be towed home. The cars do not just break by themselves. HOWEVER, if a car breaks due to our neglect of maintenance, we will cover the cost of the repair and even refund you if it means you miss out on significant seat time.
